In Liège, La Boverie occupies a palace built for the 1905 World’s Fair, in the middle of the park that bears its name, between the Meuse and the Dérivation. You go in for the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts.

A palace from 1905

The building is a surviving pavilion of the world’s fair, later converted into a museum. Its setting, in a park on the water, is already part of the visit.

The collections

The route runs from the Renaissance to the 20th century: Lambert Lombard, Ingres, Monet, Chagall, Picasso, Delvaux. Temporary exhibitions are added to this, some of them organised with the Louvre.
