Mystery · Oscar’s Notebook (Oscar’s Notebook), book 1
His name is Oscar Blanc. That isn’t his real name.
Fallen from the sky one stormy night into the woods of Sart-Tilman, with no way of ever getting home, Oscar has learned to live among humans: their péket, their boulets sauce lapin, and all those rules they never write down anywhere. Nobody has ever noticed him. Nobody, that is, until Victor Lenoir, a former police inspector in a wheelchair, who saw right through him in five minutes on a platform at Guillemins station. And decided to keep him.
Together, they solve the cases the Liège police can’t make sense of: a drowned man who smells of linden blossom, saints stolen in the fog, a murder during a neon party night at the Carré. But someone, in the shadows, is taking a very close interest in Oscar.
A mystery in the heart of Liège, all fog, intrigue and humor, where you can be right on both sides at once… and still have to choose.
